About GrassRoots Crypto
GrassRoots Crypto was founded by Chris in 2020 with the mission of providing educational support to newcomers in the world of Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and now AI. Chris understood the challenges and frustration newcomers face when starting their journey in the crypto space, having gone through it himself. He noticed that many YouTube videos used cryptocurrency terminology and jargon that new people often found confusing. This led him to create a platform where beginners could be guided effectively.
First Steps
- Chris' first videos were developed after the THORChain community had requested an instructional video series on THORNodes (AWS infrastructure deployments) for current and new THORNode operators.
- As his knowledge expanded, he delved deeper into various aspects of THORChain and began producing content on fundamental DeFi concepts like Liquidity Pools to cater to newcomers seeking clarity.

- Chris has had the privilege of guiding many individuals on their journey into the crypto realm. This fulfilling experience has reinforced GrassRoots Crypto's purpose and vision — to empower individuals through education and support.
- Chris has also explored various other areas of crypto and AI to round out his knowledge, enabling him to better assist a broader range of people.

With over 21 years of experience in the IT industry, including 7+ years in the Blockchain/Crypto space and 3+ years working with AI, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. He has attended seminars, undertaken blockchain courses, and presented for the Australian Computer Society (ACS).
